Sausage Grinder will be on hand Saturday, March 24, for a Folk Roots Festival put on by our friends at FolkWorks.org.
David Bragger and Chris Berry will be teaching fiddle and guitar workshops, respectively, at 2 p.m., with Sausage Grinder playing a square dance from 3-4, maybe a short solo set from Chris somewhere in there, and a big concert from 6-10 p.m., with Sausage Grinder playing from 7-8 or so.
There will be lots of workshops, dancing and a huge variety of music. You can help support the festival by donating here, or buy your tickets at the link below!

We’ve been trying to get up to this part of California for quite some time and are thrilled to be playing. Hope to see you there!
The Old-Time Tiki Parlour is presenting an evening of Old-Time Music on Saturday, March 12 starting at 8 p.m. featuring Mike Compton and Joe Newberry — Sausage Grinder is very excited to be opening for these master musicians.
The concert is $20 and is at Timewarp Records, 12204 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90066. This is a great venue – David’s CD release party was held there a few weeks ago and we had a great time.
Get tickets here.
In addition, Joe Newberry will teach a banjo workshop at the Old-Time Tiki Parlour at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 11.
Mike Compton will teach a mandolin workshop at Timewarp Records before the concert at Timewarp Records at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 12.
Workshop seats are very limited, so contact David Bragger ASAP to reserve your seat. More info at the Old-Time Tiki Parlour.

Check out this great review by Jonathan Shifflett on the Folkworks site! And here’s a video from the concert, too — you can find more on YouTube and we’ll share more here soon!
